RecoTex™ is a series of newly developed environmentally friendly fibers mostly made using recycled PET bottles. PET is used as a raw material for making packaging materials such as bottles and containers for packaging a wide range of food products and other consumer goods. Examples include soft drinks, detergents, cosmetics, pharmaceutical products and edibl. PET is one of the most common consumer plastics used.

Specialised polymerisation spinning technologies were then employed to produce high quality recycled PET fibers. Recycling of PET bottles can help slow global warming and save our planet by reducing environmental pollution, cutting back on fossil fuel and energy consumption, and decreasing CO2 emissions.
